Study visit to the International Center for Underwater Archeology of the Students from the University of Georgia, USA

As part of a study visit to the Zadar region, University students from Georgia, accompanied by their professors and tourist guide Mirela Švaić, visited the International Center for Underwater Archeology in Zadar (MCPA) on Friday, June 24th, 2024.

On this occasion they visited the newly opened St. Nicholas centre for Education and Presentation in the premises of the former church and monastery of St. Nicholas in Zadar, employees of MCPA Zadar presented and explained in more detail the processes of research, conservation and restoration of Underwater Cultural Heritage. Of particular interest to the students was the detailed presentation of the restoration and conservation workshops.
