19th Special and Academic Libraries Days

MCPA librarian Luka Bratović participated in the 19th Special and Academic Libraries Days conference, held in Lovran from 1 to 3 December 2025, where he presented a poster titled The Legacy of Harald von Petrikovits: A Special Collection in the Library of the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar.

The main theme of this year’s conference was Synergy and Growth: Libraries – Equal, Yet Different. The program featured papers and e-posters by special and academic librarians from across Croatia, addressing topics such as libraries in the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, the role and status of libraries and librarians, challenges related to openness, and the business and sustainable development of library institutions.

The conference was organized by the Croatian Library Association, the Section for University and Special Libraries, the National and University Library in Zagreb, the University Library in Rijeka, and the Rijeka Library Association.
