ICUA Zadar organizes lectures in the field of underwater archaeology

International centre for underwater archaeology in Zadar organizes lectures in the field of underwater archaeology. Lecturers are the members of the Bavarian society for underwater archaeology - Bayerische Gesellschaft für Unterwasserarchäologie (BGfU) and will be presenting three lectures about their projects in Germany:

  • Tobias Pflederer - Logboats of Bavaria
  • Marcus Prell - Investigations of bridges in Bavaria - short introduction in bridge archaeology with examples of ancient, medieval and modern bridges in Bavaria
  • Ulrich Schlitzer M. A. - Pfahlbauten / Bavarian palafitti-stations - Rose-Island in Lake Starnberg.

Lectures are in English, at International centre for underwater archaeology in Zadar, Božidara Petranovića 1, on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at 11:00 am. Entry is free.
