ICUA archaeologists gave lectures in Vienna
Underwater archaeologists from International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar held a lectures for the students and faculty of the University of Vienna at the invitation of the Working Group for Underwater Archaeology (AK Unterwasserarchäologie) of the Austrian Society for Prehistory and Early History (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Ur- und Frühgeschichte). Lectures in English were held on Tuesday, the 4th December 2012, between 18 and 20 hours in Hall 7 of the Institute of Prehistory and Early History in Franz-Klein-Gasse 1. Mladen Pešić gave a lecture, "The remains of Suleiman's Bridge at Darda lake in Baranja" and Luka Bekić lecture on "Deep Sea Survey with Research Vessel Hercules near Dubrovnik." As part of the visit the meetings were held aimed to open up opportunities for cooperation between the Austria and Croatia in the field of underwater archeology.
