The first underwater archeology field school in SlovakiaAs part of the international cooperation and education programme, from 23rd to 27th September 2019, the staff of the International Center for Underwater Archeology in Zadar, in cooperation with the Department of Classical Archeology, University of Trnava (Slovakia) has organized underwater Archaeology field school. The field school was organized at Senec Lake east from Bratislava where students had the opportunity to learn the basics of 2D and 3D documentation, photogrammetry, as well as search and survey methods of the underwater environs. The field school was attended by six participants from Slovakia and the Czech Republic - Simonka Morvayova, Martin Krnač, Peter Hriž, Anton Lisý, Diana Hrižová, Martin Kvietok. In addition to practical classes and exercises organized on land and in the lake, a number of lectures were presented. One of them, related to the richness of Croatian underwater heritage was organized at the University of Trnava and presented by Mladen Pešić. Along with ICUA team - Luka Bekić, Roko Surić, Maja Kaleb and Franka Trcer, Mirka Danova (University of Trnava, Trnavská univerzita v Trnave), Klaudia Danova (Archeological Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Archeologicky ustav SAV Nitra) and Barbara Machova (Institute of Archaeology CAS, Prague, Archeologický Ústav av Čr Praha) participated in the organization of the field school.
