The second session of the Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on the Protection of the Underwater Cultural Heritage opened at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on December 1st, 2009. The meeting was opened by UNESCO Assistant Director-General Françoise Riviere, after which UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova addressed the meeting by video message. |
